During my last trip to india I learned:
There is always space for one more person, no matter how full is the train.
The richest people live like kings, while the poorest people live with nothing on the streets.
Slums are more common that I expected.
People is happy, and kind, they overcome their problems with religion, traditions and family.
There are more than 9 millions Gods.
Kids are use to ask for money on the streets. I you give a child money, you will have 20 more in one minute surrounding you for more money.
No matter how careful you are, during the monsoon you will ruin all your shoes.
Is very difficult to find meat.
The McDonalds is very different from other McDonalds. There are no Big Macs.
People nod their heads for saying yes and no in the same way, and it´s very confusing.
I learned to be tolerant with different cultures.
There are a lot of monkeys on the streets.
I saw a lot of social injustice, and discrimination between rich and poor.
I saw houses that appear to be castles and ruins that appear to be houses.
One headstone for each fallen soldier.
